Sasie – experts in integrated renewables
What we do
We begin by analysing our customers’ requirements and sites, design a solution that meets their technical and also financial requirements, then install and often maintain the agreed solution. In the course of our analysis, we propose alternative solutions and discuss the benefits and limitations of them with our customer. We also support the clients through the financial undertakings and optimise their revenue from government incentives.
We also offer integrated renewables consultancy and design services.
We are located in Nottingham but operate nationally. We have no ‘typical’ customer type – we are equally happy to install a single renewable technology in one small house as we are providing a comprehensive integrated renewable solution for county council district sized projects, and everything in between.
We are Micro-generation Certification Scheme (MCS) approved in Solar Thermal, Solar Photovoltaic, Ground and Air Source Heat Pumps, Micro Wind Turbines, and Biomass technologies. We have an in depth understanding and experience of:- Combined Heat and Power Systems (CHPs fuelled on biogas, woodgas, lpg and natural gas), Rain-water harvesting, Heat Recovery, Energy Storage (battery banks and thermal), micro Anaerobic Digesters, and heating and water distribution systems (including underfloor heating and skirting heating). For more information, please visit our technologies page.
If we encounter a situation where necessary technology does not yet exist or is not quite right, we develop our own because we have that capability. Examples of this include:- our own smartnet integrated renewables controller (employing lora WiFi); a hybrid air and water sourced heatpump; a domestic scale AD system; and a shower water heat saver.
These skills and our comprehensive experience of using these technologies is what makes us experts in integrated renewables. We even run training courses on integrated renewables and have our very own Level 3 Diploma in Renewable Energy skills.
We have over 100 case studies (and most include some form of integrated renewables), yet we have no marketing budget and no sales team. All our business comes from ‘word of mouth’ recommendations and being on preferred suppliers lists.
Sasie is accredited with NAPIT and GAS SAFE and a member of the Solar Trade Association.
Sasie is qualified to advise on applications for Feed In Tariff (FIT) and Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI).
SASIE believes in making best use of sustainable energy by linking sources of heat and power into integrated systems (integrated renewables). We believe in user-friendly interfaces, smart controllers that watch and adjust our energy systems and we believe in careful storage of energy to minimise waste.
At SASIE, we want to see communities take control of their energy use and we aim to help groups of householders and businesses to improve their buildings and to generate their own clean energy. We are leading a revolution to use low-temperature heat for district networks.
