Meet The Sasie Team

  • Mo Kelly, Managing Director

    Mo Kelly is an apprentice trained Electrical Engineer. He founded SASIE Ltd in 2006. In 2007, Mo worked at the Building Research Establishment (BRE) Innovation Park, on the sustainable energy systems for pioneer low-carbon demonstrators, alongside major constructors. He has been involved in further Code 5/6 domestic as well as commercial installations. Mo has over 25 years’ experience in the design + installation of sustainable solutions. Mo is trained as an installer of rainwater harvesting. He has successfully completed two TSB programmes, in Assisted Living and SmartNet (controller for integrating multiple renewable heat systems). He has developed and applied for patents for SASIE’s integrated renewable energy systems.

  • Paul Morris, Technical Manager

    Paul holds various City + Guilds qualifications in plumbing and heating installations, including oil, gas and biomass systems as well as various makes and models of heat pump. He has recently qualified in teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector and will be involved in delivering SASIE’s Renewable Energy Training. Paul also manages the costing, purchasing and installation processes for SASIE’s renewable energy projects.

  • Jill Holland, Administration Manager

    Jill has an honours degree in Environmental Science, graduating in 2011 from the University of East Anglia. She has considerable experience of design and business development of solar PV systems. Jill currently manages a community carbon reduction group. Since joining SASIE, she has taken responsibility for recruiting and managing the company’s ten apprentices and has responsibility for the training side of SASIE’s business activity.

  • Ian Long, Financial Manager

    Ian graduated in Business Services with previous qualifications in Business and Finance. He is responsible for SASIE’s day to day financial affairs. He was originally involved in business analysis in the energy sector and went on to set up his own successful business. He now provides a book-keeping service for SASIE and recently managed the finances for the TSB SmartNet project.

  • Javier Martinez, Technical Consultant

    Javier has been working with SASIE and Loughborough University on the TSB SmartNet project. He is a graduate Mechanical Engineer and a masters graduate in renewable energy and architecture. He has qualified in particular in air conditioning systems and specialises in energy data analysis and control systems.

    Javi has prepared training materials across a range of topics relating to sustainability and is a trained Green Deal Assessor. He assesses buildings and provides concept level system designs for renewable energy systems.

  • Daniel Waldram, Installation Engineer

    Daniel holds qualifications in installation and maintenance of heating, plumbing and electrical systems. He installs and services all types of renewable energy systems for SASIE and manages on-site training for the SASIE apprentices.

  • The Apprentices

    SASIE has recruited ten apprentices, previously unemployed and aged 18-24.

    The apprentices are currently taking a General Construction day-release course with Central College but have also been trained in solid wall insulation and have considerable site experience of renewable energy installations.
